Complete construction & demolition sorting line installed inside a plant building

Projects & Systems

Complete Systems, Built by One Team

We don't sell machines off a shelf — we design, fabricate, and install the whole sorting system, from the infeed conveyor to the control room, as a single turnkey project.

Sherbrooke OEM designs, fabricates, and installs complete turnkey sorting systems for recycling and waste operations. Since 1997, one in-house team in Sherbrooke, Quebec — pre-design, engineering, fabrication, controls, and installation — has delivered more than 200 installations across Canada and the United States. Every system is engineered to the client's material and throughput rather than assembled from a catalogue, and built in a 60,000 sq ft plant equipped with overhead cranes up to 50 tonnes.

What a System Includes

A complete line is a sequence of stages, each handing a cleaner stream to the next. We engineer and build all of them in-house so they work as one machine.

Infeed & metering

Apron and steel-belt conveyors take the loading shock from an excavator or loader and meter a steady, even burden onto the line.

Screening & classification

Trommels, dual-deck flip-flow, finger, disc, and star screens split the stream by size so every downstream machine sees the fraction it was built for.

Density & air separation

De-stoners, air knives, and ballistic separation pull heavies from lights — clean aggregate one way, fibre and film the other.

Magnetic & eddy current

Overhead self-cleaning magnets, drum magnets, and eddy current separators recover ferrous and non-ferrous metal as salable product.

Optical sorting

NIR and AI optical sorting from our sister company Eagle Vizion grades plastics, fibre, wood, and organics where manual picking cannot keep up.

Manual sort platforms

Elevated picking cabins and platforms for the recoverables that are too large, too valuable, or too variable to leave to a machine.

Bunkers & structure

Storage bunkers, support steel, walkways, and crane rail — the whole structure carrying the line, fabricated in the same shop.

Controls & automation

PLC control, VFD drives, and HMI panels wired and programmed in-house so the line starts, sequences, and protects itself as one machine.

How a System Comes Together

1 Pre-design

We start from your material — composition, throughput, end markets, and building constraints. A sample and a feasibility-stage layout come before any quote.

2 Engineering

Full mechanical, structural, and controls engineering, sized to your duty rather than pulled from a catalogue.

3 Fabrication

Built in our 60,000 sq ft plant — mild steel through CHT 400 wear plate to stainless — under overhead cranes to 50 tonnes.

4 Installation & commissioning

Our own crews erect, wire, and commission the line, then run it in against the performance the design promised.

Have a stream to process?

Send us your material and throughput — we'll work back from there to a system that fits your building and your end markets.
